Residency programme
Join us in September for our end of programme exhibition in the City of London
10 contemporary practitioners each creating exploratory and experimental work, pushing the boundaries of their practice
Over the course of the 6 month programme, The Experimental Weave Lab is supporting 11 invited artists and designers to create innovative, exploratory and contemporary woven work.
Each of the invited artists and designers are professional weavers with a diverse range of career and personal backgrounds and experiences.
Working from a studio in a former church hall in the heart of the City of London, each of the artists are at different stages of their careers - some are eminent practitioners with decades of experience, and some are artists who have started their practice in recent years.
All the artists have been brought together over the course of 6 months, united in their desire to take risks with their work in order to push the boundaries of their craft.
